Stream Data Centers Breaks Ground On Private Data Center In San Antonio
The new purpose-built data center will deliver 7.2 MW of critical-load power.
Stream Data Centers has announced the groundbreaking of its new, state-of-the-art data center development in San Antonio, TX. The Stream private data center (PDC) will be a 75,840-sq-ft, greenfield development that sits on 9.6 acres in the Westover Hills Business Park, a master-planned business park offering a robust fiber and power infrastructure. Westover Hills also provides close proximity to other key data center facilities for several national and multinational corporations.
The new purpose-built Stream PDC will deliver 7.2 MW of critical-load power. It will include dual-feed power from two separate substations, and Stream will utilize its standard 2N electrical / N+1 mechanical configuration for the project. The new PDC will be built to Miami-Dade County Building Code Standards, able to withstand 185-mph straight-line winds and uplift. Stream is also using accredited construction and design practices required to achieve a LEED® Silver Certification.
