The Critical Facilities Round Table will hold a meeting on August 22, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Oracle Building, 5805 Owens Drive, Pleasanton, CA. Attendees will gain insight from Krish Sivakumar, manager, product management at Cisco Systems and learn how the Software Defined Data Center will shape the compute, network, storage, and virtualization infrastructure for some time to come, and how it will affect our data center facilities.

Following the presentation, participate in a moderated and interactive roundtable discussion focusing on IT and facilities convergence. Many organizations today still lack the necessary communications and collaboration between their respective teams. While no one data center and IT enterprise resemble another identically, some companies have decided to tackle their performance and financial inefficiencies head-on.

Attendees will hear from Oracle, a leading health care firm, and Box.com as they share their wins and lessons learned about their IT facilities projects. Afterward, lunch, compliments of Mirapath, Inc. and Glumac, and networking are scheduled.
