Data Centers Delivered To Provide Modular Prefabricated Pumping Infrastructure For Data Center Expansion Project
The infrastructure will account for approximately 1 MW of critical load support for the project.
To support Windstream Hosted Solutions’ recent 72,000 sq ft data center expansion in Charlotte, NC, Data Centers Delivered will develop, design, and deliver the modular prefabricated pumping infrastructure for the facility, accounting for approximately 1MW of critical load support.
Data Centers Delivered partnered with data center solutions provider, DSA Encore, to create a customized pumping infrastructure that will serve the chiller deployment for Windstream’s data center expansion, thus reducing the amount of space and energy needed for mechanical equipment.
“With the steady rise in demand for cloud computing storage as a more cost-effective and practical solution for businesses, we predict more companies like Windstream will require faster turnaround times and lower costs to meet their data center expansion needs, but also fear having to compromise on design and infrastructure aspirations,” said Stephen Madaffari, principal of Data Centers Delivered. “It is a pleasure to partner with DSA Encore and show Windstream the ease and speed with which Data Centers Delivered can develop, design, and deliver a customized prefabricated solution to support their rapid data center growth plans.”
“After learning about how their modular pumping package would seamlessly work with the rest of our infrastructure design, Data Centers Delivered was the obvious choice to support this project,” said Gary Peters, director at DSA Encore.
