Virtus Data Centres has announced today that it has appointed Neil Cresswell as its chief executive officer.

Cresswell joins Virtus from Savvis where he spent six years, latterly as managing director of the EMEA Region. He has more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector building successful, high growth, profitable businesses with a reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. He has worked across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the U.S for companies such as Savvis, Attenda, BNP Paribas, IBM, and Fiserv.
