Now in its 17th year, the Battcon Stationary Battery Conference continues to fill the needs of stationary battery users in the data center, power, and nuclear industries by providing a forum where industry experts, manufacturers, and users gather to discuss the latest in research and development. With a strong focus on education and networking, Battcon provides an intense, three day learning experience unavailable from any other industry source.

The Monday to Wednesday conference features a two evening trade show where users interact with battery and equipment manufacturers and service providers to solve problems and learn of the latest products. The Battcon Technical Committee strives to have cutting edge papers and fact filled panels.

“With batteries being the number one cause of load loss, datacenter professionals must understand the key roll batteries play” says Glenn Alber, creator of the Battcon conference. For 2013, committee member Dale Campbell of Intel, will moderate the UPS Workshop. The conference and trade show are supplemented by three Sunday seminars, each conducted by industry leaders. Attendees can choose from Battery Basics, Beyond the Fundamentals or  Review of Omic Testing Methods.

The event will be held May 6-8, 2013, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, FL. To register, visit www.battcon.com or call 954-623-6660, Ext 23806.
