Schneider Electric has announced the expansion of its IT Business with the launch of the Schneider Electric Mission Critical Services & Software division, a dynamic set of capabilities offering the most robust software and services in the industry for any size data center, in any segment. Resulting from Schneider Electric’s acquisition of Lee Technologies in 2011, this launch represents the full integration of Schneider Electric’s end-to-end energy management services with Lee Technologies’ data center lifecycle methodology. Also launching today is the new Data Center Service Provider Team, a team of specialists committed to meeting the unique business and technology needs of co-location, hosting and cloud businesses. The Data Center Service Provider Team is a multi-disciplinary team that brings together solution architects, global project management and execution, supply chain and account managers to deliver innovative solutions and operational models that address this segment’s business imperatives around speed, profitability, and scalability.

The Schneider Electric IT Business also announced new leadership appointments for both the Mission Critical Services & Software division and Data Center Service Provider Team.

- Jason Schafer, director, Technology & Operations Management, Mission Critical Services and Software. Jason brings 18 years of mission-critical facilities experience and is responsible for the development and coordination of facility operations consultancy services, most recently serving as Research Manager for 451 Research’s Data Center Technologies practice.
- Mike Hagan, vice president - Data Center Solutions Provider Division. A 26 year industry veteran, Mike is responsible for Schneider Electric’s sales efforts with Fortune 500 companies, bringing a customer-centric approach to data center lifecycle solutions, focusing on providing maximum business benefit through proper design, energy efficiency and operational excellence.
