The Green Grid has announced registration is open for Forum 2013, a two-day event being held from March 5-6 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA. Forum 2013 will gather leading authorities on resource efficiency for data centers and the entire IT ecosystem and will feature more than 30 informative and interactive sessions. Both members and non-members are encouraged to attend.

Forum 2013 will focus on four key pillars: the challenges and opportunities of big data, the value of collaborative regulatory activity, software, and it hardware efficiencies, and financial and operational efficiencies. Forum sessions will present attendees with insights and opinions on how each of these four relevant topics will impact the data center industry in 2013 and beyond.

"2012 was an important year in our industry with a number of critical developments bringing resource efficiency into the spotlight more than ever before," said Mark Schiller, executive director of The Green Grid. "The Green Grid's Sixth Annual Forum will explore four topic areas that the organization believes will have significant impact on the future of the data center and IT industries. Forum attendees will have an opportunity to hear from some of the most respected and knowledgeable individuals from all corners of the industry ecosystem, gaining insights into what 2013 holds for resource efficiency."

Members of The Green Grid are invited to attend a networking reception on Tuesday, March 5 where they can engage with other members, customers, industry representatives, and directors from The Green Grid's Board.
