Emerson Network Power has announced that the trade compliant version of its Liebert GXT3, the LiebertGXT3-GVG3, is now available across North America.

The Liebert GXT3 is an online double conversion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system that enables IT managers to pack higher power capacities into smaller spaces while maintaining best-in-class availability. The Liebert GXT3-GVG3 is compliant with the Trade Agreement Act (TAA), which helps meet requirements for most U.S. federal government procurements and contracts, such as the General Services Administration. The TAA compliant version also qualifies for Buy American Act - Free Trade Agreements. In addition, both the standard (500VA-10kVA) and GVG3 versions of the UPS can qualify for the Buy American Act – Supplies.

“While beneficial for federal, state and local government entities, TAA compliance is also a requirement for any organizations, such as schools and hospitals, that receive federal dollars,” said Charles O’Donnell, vice president of power engineering, Emerson Network Power in North America. “The Liebert GXT3-GVG3 helps organizations meet this requirement, while offering a dynamic combination of low cost of ownership, rich functionality, small size and high capacity that helps customers optimize space without sacrificing availability.”

At just 2U high, the Liebert GXT3-GVG3 is available in 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and 3,000 VA ratings, in 120V models. It is designed for rack-mount or tower configurations and has a rotating LED display panel that adjusts for either orientation.

The system offers attractive enhanced features for customers responsible for ensuring the highest level of security for their networks. For example, a Windows-based configuration program can adjust operating parameters, and customers can monitor UPS and server communications and ensure proper, unattended shutdown through built-in USB communications synced with Liebert MultiLink.
