Cummins Power Generation has released four diesel generator sets using the QSB7 and QSL9 engine platforms. The new models include 175, 200, 275, and 300-kW power nodes. Both engine platforms feature a common rail fuel system with proven electronic controls for precise engine manipulation and low-maintenance filter assemblies to minimize downtime.
All models comply with the EPA Tier 3 emission requirements for emergency standby applications. Built on the proven 6.7-liter, 6-cylinder QSB7 engine platform, the 175 and 200-kW generator sets are smaller, lighter, and quieter than the models they are replacing. They also offer improved fuel economy, better de-rate performance, a choice of PowerCommand controls, and optional dual circuit breakers with identical ampacity trip settings.
