Sidera Networks has announced ultra-low latency connectivity between DuPont Fabros Technology’s (NYSE:DFT) NJ1 data center located in Piscataway, NJ and 2905 Diehl Road in Aurora, IL via Sidera’s Xtreme Ultra-Low Latency Network.  Sidera’s network provides strategic advantages to financial services firms and other high bandwidth customers who value both diversity and low latency while guaranteeing optimal business performance

Sidera is already connected to DFT’s recently delivered ACC6 data center located in Ashburn, VA, which provides a termination point for Sidera’s Transcom Route, a diverse route from the I-95 corridor with an option to bypass downtown Washington, DC. DFT’s tenants can access these diverse fiber paths and high-speed connectivity between Aurora, IL, Piscataway, NJ, and Ashburn, VA for financial services applications, back-up and recovery, cloud services and more utilizing Sidera’s network.

“Sidera’s Xtreme Ultra-Low Latency network enhances our ability to provide direct connectivity to the financial services market,” comments Vinay Nagpal, director of carrier relations at DuPont Fabros Technology. “Our highly secure wholesale data center solutions now provide high-demand and big bandwidth connectivity leveraging Sidera’s ultra fast network.”
