Intel Data Center Manager (DCM) is a middleware software program that features web-service APIs for data center power and thermal management. It is designed to integrate in the management console. DCM can manage network management (NM) devices along with most other servers and devices in the data center, with a roadmap to cover all servers, network, and storage devices.

The DCM offers real-time monitoring of actual power and inlet temp data aggregated to rack, row, and room, with user-defined physical or logical groups; alerts based on custom power and thermal events; power estimation engine for legacy servers lacking power monitoring; display server asset tag and serial numbers for HP, IBM, and Dell; and CISCO rack and UCS support. The software provides trending and control. It is agent-less, scalable, and secure.
