IO has announced that NetFusion Services, a managed services provider, has deployed IO Data Center as a Service (DCaaS).

IO DCaaS is delivered to NetFusion Services out of the IO Phoenix and IO Scottsdale data centers. This approach supplies NetFusion Services with secure, cost-effective data center infrastructure without having to invest resources to deploy and maintain its own data center.

"IO DCaaS provides us with the secure, redundant infrastructure that is a perfect fit to support our growing IT management and data protection/disaster recovery services business," said Chris Goulding, CEO, NetFusion Services. "We commit to our customers a world-class managed services experience and IO's highly reliable infrastructure helps us deliver on that pledge."

IO DCaaS solutions utilize IO.Anywhere modular data center technology, which provides everything a company needs for the enterprise-class infrastructure required to run IT operations. Organizations can use DCaaS to support cloud computing, high-availability applications, business continuity/disaster recovery, data center consolidation and other strategic technology initiatives.

IO Phoenix is the largest commercially available data center in the United States to achieve Tier III Design Certification from the Uptime Institute. IO Scottsdale contains 90,000 sq ft of usable raised floor.
