The DC Group has released the very first mobile phone app for the UPS service industry. The App works on iPhones and most Android models and may be downloaded free from iTunes and other App Stores.
The App is designed to eliminate the costly time lag between service calls and service reports. The DC Group technicians are now able to send out instant, on-site alerts based on four critical areas: units off-line, battery failures, major deficiencies, and minor deficiencies.
The alerts can be sent to the entire chain of command—site contact, supervisor, manager, director, vice president, and CIO—eliminating costly delays in notification of critical service issues.
When the end user receives an App Alerts they can even use the App to link to DC Group’s state-of-the-art web-based customer portal—D-Tech—for more in depth information.
