Energy efficiency has been the hot topic at our last several conferences, which have all included multiple sessions, including case studies and technical presentations. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., chief prosecuting attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper and president of Waterkeeper Alliance, was the keynote speaker at our 2011 Spring Conference, which was held at the Hilton Bonnet Creek in Orlando, FL. Mr. Kennedy’s far-ranging remarks covered the positive economic benefits of sustainable development, while acknowledging the difficulties faced by those providing essential services to the nation.
