CoreLink Data Centers, LLC is extending its promotion through November 30, 2001 by which new and existing Chicago and Seattle customers can get a 100-sq-ft private cage with four free cross-connects for as little as $3,940 per month. Devised to help growing enterprises easily and economically scale their data center footprints, the special colocation package also includes as many as four cabinets, each with 120 VAC/20 Amp Redundant (A&B) power and four hours per month of remote hands.

Standard cabinet power distribution units (PDUs) include the four cross-connects, a $400 value. Companies signing a three-year contract also receive free set-up, a process that ordinarily costs $5,900. Installation must occur before Jan. 31. The offer cannot be combined with others. Some restrictions apply.

Private cages, including those available under the "CoreLink Data Center Private Cage Extravaganza" promotion, are covered by the company's flexible data center solution contract. The contract enables customers to easily scale their critical infrastructure services to accommodate growth and changing business needs. The managed services provider also offers small, medium and large enterprise customers a range of services including network security and disaster recovery solutions

"Customer response to our original Private Cage Extravaganza promotion was very strong, so we want to extend it another month to encourage additional companies to take advantage of this great offer," said Scott Brueggeman, CoreLink's vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "CoreLink is pleased to provide new, as well as existing Chicago and Seattle enterprise customers requiring more space, this opportunity to expand their data center footprints to accommodate their IT infrastructure growth."

CoreLink customers enjoy the following benefits:

  • 100 percent uptime Service Level Agreements for mission critical applications
  • The ability to scale up or down without the usual data center constraints
