CyrusOne has announced the commissioning of an additional 65,000 sq ft of premium data center space in its North Dallas facility.

CyrusOne’s North Dallas facility, which is located in the Convergence Technology Campus, currently offers 192,000 square feet of prime redundant power architecture with high-density capability and abundant connectivity.

To ensure that it is well-equipped to meet future power requirements, CyrusOne has entered into an agreement with Texas-New Mexico Power to add 14 megawatts (MW) of power capacity at the North Dallas facility by 2012. This will result in available power capacity of 22 MW with future expansion available up to 62 MW, as required.
