The 2011 Data Center Efficiency Summit will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011, at the IBM Almaden Research Center. The Data Center Efficiency Summit is a partnership between the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, California Energy Commission and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. It focuses on best practices and emerging technologies that reduce data center costs and significantly increase efficiencies for both legacy and new construction.

Event coordinators invite participants to submit case studies and content for event by September 30 todcespapers@svlg.org. Case studies should be one to two pages in length presented from the customer’s perspective (not the vendor) with real numbers indicating changes in efficiency, energy usage, water usage, and/or reliability.
