Power Assure, a supplier of Dynamic Data Center Optimization software, has announced the appointments of Victor Neeley as its new senior vice president of worldwide sales and Jack Norris as its new vice president of marketing. The expansion of Power Assure’s executive management team closely follows last week’s announcement of the increase of Power Assure’s total capital raised to $18.75 million.

We have been very deliberate in our selection of the right sales and marketing executives that possess the industry experience, proven sales success, and deep understanding to execute Power Assure’s vision,” said Brad Wurtz, CEO of Power Assure. “The addition of Victor Neeley and Jack Norris are two of our most strategic hires, and we are fortunate to have landed such high caliber individuals to the team.”

Victor Neeley joins Power Assure as an accomplished sales leader with a proven record of dramatically increasing sales. Neeley was vice president of sales at Evault where his team greatly expanded software-as–a-service (SaaS) data center back-up sales prior to its acquisition by Seagate.

“Data centers globally are in serious need of the ability to optimize their power usage, especially with the increase in virtualization and computing density,” said Neeley. “I’m excited by the opportunity to provide customers with a unique, compelling solution that provides them with dramatic savings.”

Neeley’s accomplishments also include developing and implementing strategies that resulted in T-Mobile winning the first J.D. Power & Associate award for #1 in Business Customer Satisfaction. His track record for growing sales and increasing customer retention encompasses senior level positions at ParaScale, Axcient, MFN, NorthPoint, WinStar, and Allnet.

Power Assure’s new vice president of marketing Jack Norris is a veteran marketing executive with more than 20 years of industry experience.

“It’s apparent that dynamic power management is a critical aspect of improving data center operations and energy efficiency,” said Norris. “Power Assure’s technical and market leadership is clearly evident, and I am looking forward to expanding the company’s global presence.”

Prior to joining Power Assure, Norris was vice president of marketing and business development with cloud storage specialist ParaScale. He has propelled start-ups to leaders in their respective markets including Rainfinity, the leader in network file virtualization, which was acquired by EMC. Norris has previously held senior executive roles with Wanova, Aster Data, Brio Technology, SQRIBE Technologies, and Bain Consulting.
