Collman & Karsky Architects chose Wellbilt International’s patented Sure-Board Wall Panel System for construction of a data center in Sarasota, FL. When the data center is completed, it will be leased to Lee County to be used as a command center in times of emergency. TLC Engineering in Orlando, FL, supplied the structural engineering.

Bryan Karsky, of Collman & Karsky Architects, stated, “Wellbilt’s Sure-Board Wall Panel was chosen for its Miami-Dade NOA (Notice of Acceptance) Hurricane resistance tested approval and is a much faster, cleaner, and less expensive to use than other products on the market.”

The Wellbilt Sure-Board Wall Panel may also be used for shelters, as well as qualifying for exterior wall uses of Florida’s "Essential" buildings.

“This project is a testament to our product’s strength, ideal for uses in Florida’s ‘Essential’ buildings, which exceed the Hurricane standards,” stated Alina Van Katwyk, president of Wellbilt International. “Our Sure-Board wall product offers very high levels of protection during emergencies and has also been used in hospitals on the Gulf Coast for this specific protection level.”
