The HT-510 works by creating a bubble of cold air in front of hot racks in a data center, thereby supplying cold air to servers and avoiding hot air recirculation. This cold air bubble is largely maintained even under a CRAC failure condition. By eradicating hotspots, HotSpotr virtually eliminates equipment failure due to overheating, and therefore increases computer uptime and reduces the need to spend money on additional CRACs. The unit is designed to maintain cold air supply to server racks, modulate the cold bubble in front of the rack using a temperature-based fan speed control, install easily and provides instant results, and fit a standard 24-inch tile slot.
