AFCO Systems’ HDS 10 Data Center Enclosure uses a bottom-to-top airflow design. The switch enclosure, engineered for the Cisco Nexus 7018 Switch, utilizes AFCO Systems’ airflow management technology to provide the necessary cooling with a 25 percent smaller footprint in the data center compared to other cabinets. The bottom-to-top cooling effectiveness provides data center managers with an extra level of confidence in maintaining switch performance and reliability. The enclosure is designed to accept cabling from overhead and/or under floor feeds. It uses a series of vertical and horizontal cable managers in a dedicated cable management chamber that help route and secure each connection efficiently while minimizing the cabling’s impact on airflow.
