The Eaton BladeUPS Preassembled System is designed for data center managers interested in consolidating standalone UPSs in order to ease UPS management and enhance power capacity planning. Depending upon power requirements, Preassembled Systems can be ordered with two to six BladeUPS units installed to provide the necessary level of power protection.
All Preassembled BladeUPS systems come with UPS modules and batteries installed in a 42U enclosure, complete with communication cards and internal system wiring. Prior to being delivered to the customer on a single, shock-absorbent pallet, complete with an unloading ramp, each unit is tested as a complete system.
The scalable and modular BladeUPS expands power protection from 12 to 60 kilowatt (kW) (N+1) in a single 19-in. rack while reducing energy and cooling costs with its energy-efficient UPS design. BladeUPS Preassembled Systems reduce shipping, handling and installation costs as all UPS modules are already installed in the information technology (IT) enclosure.
