Staco Energy Products Company introduced the FLU-10S, a second generation to their FirstLine 10-kva three-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS). This true on-line, double-conversion UPS provides computer-grade power quality at a price that is significantly below comparable kVA models. Even with its small footprint and low weight, the FLU-10S has a standard battery run-time of over nine minutes (with optional batteries for extended run times). Sophisticated power electronics technology provides reliable blackout protection and power conditioning. Front-end harmonic correction eliminates the need for additional filtering, lowering the cost of operation. Robust double-conversion technology protects the connected load from sags, swells, harmonics, noise, and voltage imbalances without going to battery operation. This UL1778 listed UPS is ideal for a wide range of applications including broadcast, computer networks, medical, university, process industries, wastewater treatment, food/beverage and manufacturing plants. A user-friendly control panel is located on the front of the unit and includes an alarm and remote monitoring through an RS232 connection. The compact enclosure is 46 by 20 by 32 in. (h by w by d) and includes an easy-to-use top service entry. FirstLine is made in the USA and backed by a full three-year warranty (covering both parts and labor). FirstLine models are intended for applications with input voltage of 208, 220 and 480 Vac and a range of +10 /- 20 percent (166-229 Vac). Input frequency is 60 Hz +/-5 percent. Full load walk-in from 25 to 100 percent of rated load in 10 seconds. Inverter output distortion is ≤5 percent THD for non-linear loads and ≤2 percent THD for linear loads. Output voltage is regulated to +/-1 percent of nominal at full load.
