Rittal released the latest addition to its comprehensive RimatriX5 line of modular data center infrastructure products-the Wireless CMC-TC security sensor network. The Wireless CMC-TC makes it possible to monitor up to 16 different sensors (from a single I/O unit) tracking mission critical data like temperature, humidity, access, and digital input from other devices beginning with a plug-and-play setup that can be easily incorporated into new builds or retrofitted to secure existing deployments. The wireless design means that no provisions for running cable to sensors are necessary and integration can be done without infrastructure modifications or downtime-providing considerable savings of time and money in light of the constant moves adds and changes (MACs) associated with modern business.
