Many of today’s network switches use a right-to-left airflow pattern that can cause elevated equipment temperatures when housed within a cabinet. This pattern can also disrupt a data center’s hot aisle/cold aisle airflow. CPI’s N-Series TeraFrame Network Cabinet features a Network Switch Exhaust Duct option that isolates and re-directs hot exhaust air out of the rear of the cabinet and into the hot aisle, delivering superior thermal management for high-density applications.  The duct essentially converts side-to-side airflow into a front-to-rear airflow pattern. Additionally, offset doors and side panels provide extra interior space around equipment for enhanced airflow and cable management. Removable front and rear doors are perforated for maximum airflow into and out of the cabinet. Vented side panels are also available for added airflow in end-of-row applications.
