Enersys extended its DataSafe HX line to include smaller-sized batteries ideal to meet the requirements of single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. The DataSafe HX range now includes seven new models, the HX25 through the HX150, which offer between 23 and 150 watts/cell at the 15-minute rate to a 1.67 V end voltage. These valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries have a 10-year design life, easily outlasting typical small UPS batteries. All batteries in the DataSafe HX line have an operating temperature range of -22 degrees F (-30 degrees C) to 113 degrees F (45 degrees C). They can be stored for up to six months at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) before needing a recharge, are available in flame retardant material, can safely be recharged at high-current rates and have a ten-year (three-year full plus seven year pro-rated) warranty.For Immediate Information, Write 219
