The 69-acre property also has land available for greenfield development of additional datacenter buildings.

The datacenter complex is significant economic news for Dallas and for the state because it will be a major engine for economic development. The new data center will not only create 172 jobs this year and 1,225 jobs through 2015, but the development of the datacenter complex will inject nearly a quarter of a billion dollars into the state economy (tax revenue and local purchases) through 2015. The completed datacenter space will also have a significant secondary impact on the Texas economy by providing critical computing infrastructure to companies whose growth will bring additional jobs, additional tax revenue and economic vitality to the region.
