Emerson
Network Power announced that it is one of the companies collaborating
with IBM to address the ever-changing requirements and needs of large
enterprise data centers around the world.
IBM
is strategically partnering with Emerson Network Power to give
organizations the flexibility needed to meet unpredictable growth
through a scalable, on-demand capacity approach that allows data
center capabilities to be added when and where they are needed, while
ensuring uninterruptible data center operations. As part of the
collaboration, IBM is working with Emerson Network Power to integrate
its Liebert power and precision cooling products and services with
IBM’s Enterprise Modular Data Center (EMDC).
“Emerson
Network Power is looking forward to further extending our
relationship with IBM and providing efficient and flexible options
for enterprise customers to meet business demand and IT growth while
continuing to deliver high availability,” said Fred Stack, vice
president of marketing for Liebert Precision Cooling at Emerson
Network Power in North America. “Today’s data center managers are
struggling to balance organizational pressure to deliver both
efficiency and availability. As we look ahead to the next decade, it
will be solutions such as IBM’s Enterprise Modular Data Center that
enable organizations to maximize the value of their technology
infrastructure at reduced costs and improved efficiency, without
potentially risking IT performance.”
