The agreement extends the business relationship between organizations, where SE&A is an existing strategic component supplier of circuit breakers, dc distribution switch gear and building automation and control components to Validus DC Systems for its patented, direct-current, power distribution architecture. SE&A offers 24 x7 support for Validus’ customers in more than 296 locations in 69 countries around the world. With an experienced staff of field service professionals on call or on site, Validus customers can be assured that they will receive the highest level of support available in the industry. This relationship further serves as validation of the modular, integrated DC power solutions that Validus will bring to market in the first quarter of 2008. Validus’ offering will deliver up to 40 percent improvement in system efficiency compared to conventional alternating current (AC) power delivery systems, increase overall system reliability, facilitate integration of alternative energy sources and reduce operational costs, said Validus.
