The Mission Critical Blog

Register Now for the Open Forum

February 05, 2009

Regular readers to this space know that I have been teasing everyone about a second Open Forum webinar.  Well I'm happy to say that we have opened registration for this event, and thanks to our sponsors AdaptivCool, CoolSim, MovinCool, TekWorx, I can announce details.
The new Open Forum will be held on March 19th at 2:00 pm ET. Our expert panel comprises
• Ted Martin, Digital Realty Trust
• Bruce Myatt, Critical Facilities Solutions, CFRT
• David Schirmacher, Goldman Sachs
• Robert Sullivan, Uptime Institute
More information about these speakers is available at the registration page. As editor of Mission Critical, I'll be moderating. The Open Forum answers your questions and only your questions. Speakers know that they will be called upon to answer any question relating to data center cooling that a speaker might ask. And to ensure a broad range of questions, we collect questions live during the event, but also during registration, through this blog, and on our LinkedIn discussion group. Please participate in this unique event and submit your question. As they used to tell me in school, if you have a question about something, it's a sure bet that someone else wants to hear the answer.
You must register or login in order to post comments.

Gilbane Company Event

Gilbane Company Event

The Gilbane Company hosted a wonderful event Monday at Bobby Vans, a wonderful restaurant just blocks from the Occupy Wall Street protests. Nor surprisingly, Gilbane put together a wonderful program that included presentations from Kfir Godrich of HP, Peter Miscovich of Jones Lang LaSalle, and ABB. All the parties had gathered to celebrate Steel ORCA, a new 300,000 sq ft data center in New Jersey that will run on 100 percent solar energy. Dave Crocker, the CEO of Steel Orca, Dennis Cronin, and other company execs were also on hand to tell the story.
