Help Build Our 2010 Sked

November 23, 2009

Mission Critical is currently developing its 2010 webinar lineup. We’re anticipating hosting six scheduled programs plus others as demand warrants. The tentative line ups includes two open forums (one on power and one on cooling) plus sessions on high density/supercomputing facilities, infrastructure demands in virtualized/blade environments, achieving high reliability in enterprise operations, and a session on preparing to move to the cloud.

Before finalizing the schedule, I wanted to see if we could get feedback on additional or replacement subjects, plus as always we are looking for speakers who can tell an interesting story about challenges in the data center environment.

Our sales staff will also be looking for sponsors. You do not have to be a current advertiser to sponsor a webinar, merely a business that wants to help us meet our educational mission. Feel free to contact Kevin Heslin at heslink@bnpmedia.com if you have a suggestion for our program.

Gilbane Company Event

Gilbane Company Event

The Gilbane Company hosted a wonderful event Monday at Bobby Vans, a wonderful restaurant just blocks from the Occupy Wall Street protests. Nor surprisingly, Gilbane put together a wonderful program that included presentations from Kfir Godrich of HP, Peter Miscovich of Jones Lang LaSalle, and ABB. All the parties had gathered to celebrate Steel ORCA, a new 300,000 sq ft data center in New Jersey that will run on 100 percent solar energy. Dave Crocker, the CEO of Steel Orca, Dennis Cronin, and other company execs were also on hand to tell the story.
