Teladata’s upcoming Technology Convergence Conference, to be held February 19, 2009 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA, is the highlight of a week that includes the first-ever Data Pulse Meeting and a meeting of the Northern California chapter of AFCOM. Data Center Pulse, an exclusive group of global data center owners, operators, and users, will moderate Technology Convergence panels, covering the top ten topics on the minds of the Data Center Community.

Mission Critical will be at all these events, plus we provided questions from our first Open Forum that Data Center Pulse will address.

The Technology Convergence Conference is a one-day, information-packed event that includes four Educational Tracks including

Solutions for Top Data Center Challenges

Converging Technologies,

Energy Efficiency Strategies

IT/Facilities Strategic Planning.

The Conference focuses on providing an environment where IT, Facilities, Telecommunications, and other technology professionals can come together to exchange ideas and best practices.

Gilbane Company Event

Gilbane Company Event

The Gilbane Company hosted a wonderful event Monday at Bobby Vans, a wonderful restaurant just blocks from the Occupy Wall Street protests. Nor surprisingly, Gilbane put together a wonderful program that included presentations from Kfir Godrich of HP, Peter Miscovich of Jones Lang LaSalle, and ABB. All the parties had gathered to celebrate Steel ORCA, a new 300,000 sq ft data center in New Jersey that will run on 100 percent solar energy. Dave Crocker, the CEO of Steel Orca, Dennis Cronin, and other company execs were also on hand to tell the story.
