The Green Data Center Alliance Re-Launches Website

The Green Data Center Alliance (GDCA) has re-launched its website adding functionality that will believe will enable its member community to collaborate, communicate, and interact in a robust fashion. Members will be able to add content, calendar entries, definitions of terms, comment on the alliance’s Best Practices Framework (DCEEF), and create and manage forums specifically of their interest.

The most popular discussions from linkedin.com have been ported over, and open communication forums, calendars and dictionary terms have been created. Additionally, closed forums for data center owner/operators by vertical who wish to communicate with their peers about energy and cost reduction efforts will be created.

For the last year the alliance has worked with hundreds of data center professionals to create a Best Practices model for efficiency. There is now a forum for the members to further these efforts and participate in driving the industry forward. Join by creating an account at www.greendca.org.
