Staco Energy Products Announces Free Battery Replacement Program for UPS

Staco Energy Products Company has introduced an industry-first, free battery replacement program for their FirstLine P Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for 80 to 125 kVA applications.

Available for a limited time, this revolutionary program virtually guarantees a lower cost of ownership as it addresses the largest maintenance cost of UPS protection. These UPS units-which boast efficiencies of up to 98 percent, while delivering maximum availability and flexibility-are ideal for applications such as computer rooms, network closets, data centers, computer networks, as well as broadcast studios, manufacturing/assembly lines, medical facilities, and any applications where a high level of available power is essential.

"This tailored power solution addresses the unique needs of those in IT and other critical environments" said Dave Kendall, Staco vice president of sales and marketing. "Our FirstLine P offers a superior battery management topology that keeps data centers operating with clean power without going to battery as often as other systems. Other topologies revert to battery power more often-which drastically reduces battery life- and drives up operating costs. When you've got a superior product you can make bold claims – and as an industry first, free battery replacement is truly a bold statement."

The FirstLine P is a true on-line, double-conversion UPS which delivers computer grade power through IGBT and digital signal processor (DSP) control. Supplying a clean sine wave ensures delivery of a high input power factor of 0.99, and a low input current distortion of less than or equal to 3 percent. Each compact and reliable UPS is covered by an industry-leading two-year warranty and backed by a nationwide service program with optional preventative maintenance programs.
