Integrated Design Group Signs 100th Client

Integrated Design Group has announced that it has reached a major milestone by winning its 100th client account. The relationship with Verizon comes in the midst of an economic downturn, demonstrating the firm’s unique ability to provide innovative and cost saving solutions for data center clients.

As companies of all sizes continue to escalate their presence within a virtual environment, the need to design reliable, secure and sophisticated data centers is becoming increasingly critical. Today’s top organizations operate across multiple technology channels, from social media to smart phones, and demand data centers that meet rigorous standards for dependability. If a system becomes unavailable, company operations may be impaired or stopped completely, so it is necessary to provide a reliable infrastructure for IT operations in order to minimize the chance for disruption. Integrated Design Group’s track record of success speaks to the level of trust clients of all sizes place in its facilities.

Firms like Fidelity Investments rely upon Integrated Design Group to design these mission-critical data centers. “Integrated Design Group stands out in the industry primarily because they listen carefully to their clients’ requirements and deliver innovative solutions with principal-level leadership and engagement in each project,” said Scot Blessington, CPM, senior project director, Fidelity Real Estate Company. “They provide integrated and coordinated architectural solutions internally with a true acumen of data center environments that result in increased value.”

In addition to Verizon and Fidelity Investments, Integrated Design Group clients include Brown University, Digital Realty Trust, EMC, J.P. Morgan, Genzyme, Harvard University, Iron Mountain, L.L. Bean, Massport, Quest and Rackspace, among others.

”Integrated Design Group’s unique technology and focus on data center design has allowed for a steady stream of new business amidst an otherwise dismal economy,” said Mark Monroe, the firm’s chief technology adviser. “Despite being a particularly competitive environment right now, we’ve managed to attract new business with the right mix of hands-on project management, custom technology and our hallmark integration of architects and engineers at the start of all projects.”

Integrated Design Group was launched in 2003 to focus specifically on the unique needs of data center design. Integrating both architects and engineers at the start of the design process allows development to occur on parallel tracks while ensuring that specific client needs are addressed in an efficient manner. This unique approach conserves time and money while keeping projects on track with client goals.
