Google Sets 2011 European Data Centre Summit

Google will hold its Data Centre Summit 2011 on May 24, 2011, at the Arena - SihlCity CineCenter in Zurich, Switzerland.

Improving the energy efficiency of your data centre is good for the environment and reduces your organisation's total environmental impact. It also makes financial sense for infrastructures at any scale because energy efficiency best practices are no longer exotic measures implemented only by large operations. Whether you run a facility of a few hundred kWs or a multi-MW data centre, there are immediate steps you can take to deliver rapid environmental and economic returns, whilst also improving performance.

The agenda includes:
  • Keynotes on data centre sustainability
  • Best practice case studies from companies
  • Practical implementation strategies for local cooling solutions and geo-independent approaches to efficiency
  • Time for networking with your peers, including a relaxed cocktail reception after the Summit.
