Compass Datacenters has been recognized with an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve ("ESGR") Patriot Award for its commitment to providing career opportunities for members of the U.S. Armed Forces when they transition to civilian careers. ESGR, a Department of Defense program, seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States. The award was accepted by Compass Datacenters CEO Chris Crosby on behalf of the company in a ceremony held on April 24 with Colonel (R) James Hogan.

"It's an honor for Compass to receive this award," said Crosby. "It's essential that employers make good on the unpayable debt of gratitude to our veterans, who are the highest quality of employee. Their training, commitment and desire to excel make them exceptional employees in any industry, and that has clearly proven to be the case in Compass Datacenters' operations. Compass has and will continue to provide opportunities to those who are retired from their military careers or who continue to serve as reservists and guardsmen."

"The Patriot Award was created by the ESGR to recognize the committed individuals and organizations that show their patriotism through supporting and cooperating with their active and former military employees. The support that our National Guard and Reserve service members receive from their civilian employers is vital to the National Security Strategy," said Colonel (R) Hogan. "It's the backing of these military employees by organizations like Compass that strengthens the preparedness of our nation's military and provides a bridge to civilian life for our servicemen and women."
