CABLExpress will offer an exclusive look at how to best Respect Layer One® during Data Center World 2017, April 3-6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, CA.

Participants visiting the CABLExpress booth, No. 1143, will learn how CABLExpress products can best provide Respect Layer One solutions. CABLExpress can make a difference in serving large-scale networking equipment with its innovative cabling solutions that ensure networks operate at optimum speeds and performance levels.

Another CABLExpress feature at the conference will be presentations by Rick Dallmann, senior data center infrastructure architect for CABLExpress and Dave Fredricks, data center infrastructure architect for CABLExpress.

Dallmann’s presentation entitled, “Respect Layer One! Taxing the Limits of Fiber Optic Structured Cabling and Connectivity,” at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4th in Room 511A. Participants will gain insights on the impact of upcoming updates to the TIA-942 Data Center Standards; how to design data center Fiber Optic infrastructure engineered link to maintain loss budgets; and understanding the new Ethernet and Fibre Channel fiber standards and connector platforms to achieve the high-speed requirements of these topologies.

Fredricks’ presentation, “Understanding Converged and Hyperconverged Infrastructure Connectivity in Relation to in-Cabinet Connections and Structured Cabling,” at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4th in Room 501A. Participants will have a better understanding about the difference between Converged and Hyper-Converged infrastructure from a cabling perspective; will be shown how the move from Three Layer to Leaf and Spine topology in relation to connectivity; and be presented with connectivity solutions using: Twinax DAC, AOC, Path Cords, Jumpers and custom cable assemblies.
