We all just got back from Texas and the 7x24 Exchange. This year the venue was the JW Marriott San Antonio Hills and the theme was “Commitment to Excellence.” Once again the 7x24 conference team delivered just that … with the best of everything available to over 750 attendees. We all shared snow crab claws and jumbo shrimp on Sunday evening.
We played poker to a live country rock band at Casino night on Monday. And, we ran our own prairie town ho-down with a full blown bull-riding rodeo on Tuesday. Now that is world class networking!
The speakers and panels were absolutely first class with keynote speakers including a former White House CIO, a world class IT security strategist, and Yahoo! on water savings and WUE. We also witnessed a timely presentations on “Future Proofing the Data Center” from IO, a team performance classic on “Oracle’s Journey to Data Center Excellence” with Glumac Engineers and Holder Construction, and the always popular update with ASHRAE’s Don and Roger announcing yet another expansion of the white space operating envelope.
