OneNeck® IT Solutions has announced that Northwest Community Credit Union (NWCU) has signed a 5-year contract. OneNeck will provide Disaster Recovery and colocation space at their Tier III data center in Bend, OR.

“Our credit union has grown substantially the last few years,” said Aaron Beldner, chief information officer at NWCU. “We needed to move our disaster recovery solution to a new, geographically diverse location that is extremely reliable and would help us meet regulatory requirements.”

According to Beldner, switching to OneNeck’s Tier III facility was a significant upgrade for the credit union. He said, “This allows us to provide premium security for our most critical IT equipment, and to move away from a disaster recovery solution in a known earthquake zone.”

The OneNeck data center in Bend meets all of NWCU’s needs. In addition to being Tier III Compliant, Certified Design and Build, the OneNeck data center in Bend is also:

  • Highly secure, reliable and available;
  • LEED Gold certified for superior energy efficiency;
  • Equipped with redundant power and a professional staff; and
  • Regularly audited and has successfully completed the Type 2 SSAE 16 (SOC 1) examination.

“We are proud to call NWCU a customer,” said Terry Swanson, senior vice president of Solutions Providers at OneNeck. “Moving to our facility allows NWCU to colocate their most important data in a nearby safe and reliable Tier III data center. Our facility in Bend provides them geographic diversity and meets their regulatory and compliance policy requirements.”
