Anord Critical Power, Inc. has announced the appointment of Graham Carr as U.S. Western Regional sales manager and Rick Wright as plant manager at Sandston headquarters. This leadership expansion announcement underscores the adoption of the company’s UL Listed Form 4b Type 7 design AMS switchgear and the need to support North American growth with added expertise.

“Carr and Wright are great additions to Anord’s leadership team,” said Kevin Finegan, managing director for Anord Control Systems. “Their specialized knowledge will be a great asset for the company as we continue to advance our switchgear market position in North America.”

As sales manager, Carr will help expand Anord’s market presence in the western region by leveraging his ten-plus years of LV Power Solutions experience to solve data center power challenges. Carr was initially based in the company’s manufacturing facility in Ireland where he contributed to electrical design and served as an account manager in the company’s London office.  Carr holds a BEng Product Design Engineering degree from DKIT and Diploma in Electronic Design.

“I am very pleased to become part of Anord’s expanding team,” said Carr. “Being associated with a company that is at the forefront of switchgear innovation is both personally and professionally rewarding. I look forward to contributing to the company’s strong growth in North America.”

Wright will leverage his 16 years of experience in the power protection/distribution industry to oversee the company’s new manufacturing center based in Sandston, VA. Prior to Anord, Wright worked at United Power Corp. as production manager and PDI Corp as director of manufacturing.

“Anord has a world-class brand that I am proud to be associated with,” Wright said.  “The company’s award-winning solutions are well known throughout the industry and I look forward to contributing to its strong momentum and growth."
