Canara has elected John C. Lee, IV, founder and former chairman and CEO of Lee Technologies Inc., as its newest independent Board Director.

Lee founded Lee Technologies, Inc., a Fairfax, VA based company, in 1983 and successfully grew it to $140 million in revenue in 2011 when it was acquired by Schneider Electric. During these 28 years of sustained growth, Lee Technologies became the nation’s leading expert on design/build, commissioning, facilities operations, and 24x7 monitoring of a data center’s critical infrastructure. Lee Technologies served customers across industries including the federal government, financial services, telecommunications, information technology and healthcare.

“John is a highly respected executive in the data center industry, and will be a tremendous asset to Canara as we continue expanding products and services,” said Tom Mertz, CEO of Canara.

“Predictive analytics for critical infrastructure provides a foundation for achieving improved efficiencies, reliability and return on investments,” said Lee. “With the leadership of Canara’s management team and their world class technology, we are well positioned to tap into this market opportunity.”
