Raritan has unveiled a new DCIM software release that provides monitoring of white space and critical facilities systems. The release also features new capabilities to facilitate data center audits and moves. The announcement was made at the Gartner Data Center, Infrastructure & Operations Management Conference.

Raritan provides a complete solution to support customers moving from spreadsheets and other static forms and processes residing in multiple silos to an integrated, automated DCIM solution that provides accurate and interactive views on data center operations and resources. The following are some of the new capabilities released:

  • Expanded data center health maps that monitor critical facilities systems such as CRACs, UPSs and RPPs. The solution enables data center professionals to spot incidents before they become problems.
  •
  • Rack Failover Analysis Reports that help prevent a single power chain failure from causing downtime.
  •
  • Cabinet, Asset and Item Detail Reports to quickly perform audits.
  •
  • Cabinet Move feature to simplify and quickly move or expand data centers.

The Raritan DCIM solution also provides easy-to-use import wizards, auto-discovery features and the industry's largest models library — all to help customers deploy faster.
“Data Center Managers are pressured to be more efficient with power and cooling resources while ensuring uptime. Raritan has developed a complete easy-to-use solution to ensure customer adoption. Data center managers realize a high ROI by moving from legacy tools to our modern DCIM solution that provides a single version of truth and a single pane of glass for all users to use,” says James Cerwinski, director of Software Solutions at Raritan. "One of Raritan's key differentiators is the step-by-step support the company provides customers."
