Digital Realty Trust, Inc. has named Matthew J. Miszewski, senior vice president, sales. Miszewski will be responsible for overseeing Digital Realty's sales and leasing efforts in the Americas.

Miszewski joins Digital Realty from Salesforce.com where he was senior vice president, enterprise sales and global public sector. At Salesforce.com, he was responsible for establishing a new enterprise sales program focused on global and strategic accounts. In addition, he reformed its Global Public Sector business unit to focus on industry relevant solution selling for the government sector. Before joining Salesforce.com, Miszewski was with Microsoft as general manager, worldwide government. Previous executive positions held by Miszewski include chief information officer for the State of Wisconsin and president of an IT consulting firm.  Early in his career, he was a partner at a law firm after earning a juris doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
