Uptime Institute Accepting Applications for 2012 Green Enterprise IT Awards
“Uptime Institute’s GEIT Awards provide IT organizations global recognition for reducing energy consumption, and the opportunity to share those strategies and designs with their industry peers,” said Matt Stansberry, director of content and publications for Uptime Institute and program director for Uptime Institute Symposium. “This year we have streamlined the application process, and designed new categories to ensure the most advanced projects can be recognized.”
Uptime Institute’s GEIT Awards, now in their fifth year, are judged by a committee of independent experts. The 2012 application has simplified data requirements to streamline the application process, and both the 2012 application forms and categories reflect an increased emphasis on cross-disciplinary collaboration and improved resource efficiency in energy, water, and carbon use.
