Rittal Corporation to Expand Operations in Central Ohio

Rittal Corporation has announced that it is expanding its North American operations in Urbana with plans to create nearly 120 new jobs by 2016. This 20 percent increase in new positions, according to Vilmos Polgar, vice president of operations, will encompass all areas of the company from production and sales through marketing, engineering and all the many support responsibilities that have made Rittal a worldwide leader in its field.

While the company continually expands its product lines and explores new, innovative technologies to tap developing markets, the creation of these additional jobs truly reflects Rittal’s commitment to its customers in the United States as it enhances its manufacturing capacity in this country.

“In the years ahead, we will be building more and more products in Urbana and, coupled with our extensive warehousing facilities, that will make it possible for us to deliver from coast to coast on an even more timely basis,” adds Polgar. “We want to take advantage of the labor force available in Central Ohio, and be positioned to respond even faster to the needs of our customers wherever they may be.”
