Eaton Corporation announced the availability of its Advanced Monitored ePDU products, adding to its full line of enclosure power distribution technologies. Eaton’s Advanced Monitored ePDU products provide Information Technology (IT) managers the ability to monitor, track, and manage power consumption at the receptacle level for all equipment in the data center. The data captured can be used to evaluate energy efficiency and infrastructure capacity. Eaton’s Advanced Monitored function is specifically designed to measure power consumption at the equipment level. Each individual receptacle is enabled with an advanced current measurement device providing real-time current data via a local display or through a network connection.
