UPS Batteries<br>

EnerSys extended its DataSafe HX line to include smaller-sized batteries ideal to meet the requirements of single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. The DataSafe HX range now includes seven new models, the HX25 through the HX150, which offer between 23 and 150 W/cell at the 15-min rate to a 1.67-V end voltage. These valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries have a 10-year design life, easily outlasting typical small UPS batteries. With an increased energy density of data processing equipment, the DataSafe HX batteries are specifically designed to maximize space utilization as well as reduce storage and maintenance costs.
