Active Power Providing Power Protection to Alabama Public Television

AUSTIN, TX — Active Power, Inc. announced the deployment of a second 300 kVA CleanSource UPS (uninterruptible power supply) system for Alabama Public Television (APT). The system protects the broadcaster’s transmitter from power disturbances and also conditions the power, providing voltage regulation and harmonic cancellation.
