First let me thank you for your enthusiastic response to our Fall 2007 issue. Our team has been deluged with compliments, and our heads have swollen to hat sizes normally associated with steroids abuse. Fortunately, publishing—especially for the data center and emergency backup industry — is a what have you done for me lately venture. While we appreciate the kind words, we really have taken little time to relax.

We just launched our newest and most ambitious project. Editorial Advisory Board member Peter Curtis has helped us develop the industry’s most complete on-line education program. You can read more about this program on pages 41 and 73. Suffice it to say that this program will fulfill your PDH requirements. We are planning a number of Main Topic Modules with two additional “Essential Knowledge” courses. The Essential Knowledge Courses, Reliability/Resiliency and Mission Critical Facilities Engineering, serve as prerequisites to the Main Topics.

We also announced that seven industry professions had joined the publication’s editorial advisory board, bringing to 18 the number of professionals who help us in this capacity

We announced these additions in our January enewsletters, since then we have posted more complete bios of all our board members on our website. These 18 individuals are extremely dedicated to the industry, and I am lucky to have them to lean on.
